Principal's Message

Dear Roosevelt Families,

It’s hard to believe the 2020-21 school year has officially ended. On behalf of the teachers and staff at Roosevelt, I would like to thank you for your support throughout this year of distance learning.

We have already begun looking toward the new school year which begins on Wednesday, August 18th. Planning to address students’ learning and social emotional needs has already begun. We can’t wait to be back together safely with our students, teachers and staff. Be sure to check the Roosevelt School and PUSD website for reopening updates throughout the summer.

We wish you all a safe and happy summer break.

Margie A. Domino
Principal

2020-2021 Attendance

ATTENDANCE
Attendance will be taken daily. Students will be required to be present for live interaction in order to get attendance credit. We appreciate your support in making sure students are ready for school by signing onto their virtual class on time, dressed for school, and sitting in a location (ex. Desk or table) that would be best for their learning.

ABSENCE REPORTING
During distance learning, you must contact our office to report absences at (562) 602-8056. Be prepared with
the date of absence, the student’s name, and the reason for the absence.

College and Career Readiness

College and career readiness is a key focus and priority for students at Roosevelt. With high expectations for academic success, teachers and students work together to ensure that students are achieving their successes! At Roosevelt, students are aware that they are in CHARGE of their learning and of the choices they make each and every day, and are working toward successful futures ahead.
